Over the past year I have felt the trials and blessings that my friends are going through more than ever. Almost to the point it were my own situation. I constantly thing about and am in prayer of those who have been sick, lost loved ones, financial problems, dealing with and giving in to sin, blessing of finding a life mate, new babies, new homes etc etc. A friend once said the following, I hope they don't mind I quote them:
"I love the body of Christ because of the way all members mourn and rejoice with each other (or at least they should). When we pray for each other, we're like little nerves receiving an impulse from some pain or weakness or something and sending signals to the Head, who is Christ, waiting for Him to take action, or to send us commands."
Romans 12:15 (English Standard Version)
15(A) Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
